How to place an order
This tutorial will guide you through the process of placing an order on Difus.com. You can search for an item using the keyword search or the product category search. For example, if you are looking to purchase a new USB flash drive, scroll through the Computer Hardware category on the left side of the screen and then select Flash Memory and Readers.
The Flash Memory and Readers home page will provide you with a variety of options. Let's select USB flash drives.
You can narrow your search by selecting your product preferences.
You can also narrow your results using the Advanced Search, which allows you to select multiple preferences.
The filter will display products that match your criteria. You can select an item to view more information on the product description page.
The product description page provides images, product reviews, available mail-in rebates, available extended warranties and more. Under the Specifications tab, you can view product specification details, Difus' return policy, manufacturer's warranty where applicable and a direct link to the manufacturer's website. To select the item, simply click the Add to Cart button.

The next page will display a list of suggested products. Click the View Shopping Cart button to proceed to checkout.
Once in the shopping cart, enter the shipping zip code in the Zip Code field and click Refresh. Available shipping options and rates will be displayed.

Once you become a Premier member, you also receive benefits such as Free Returns, special alerts, exclusive offers and access to a private customer service line for fast assistance. To apply a promo code to your order, simply enter your email address in the Apply Promo Codes field and click Enter. You can then enter the promo code and apply the discount. You can also redeem a Difus gift card or Google offer code. Once you have completed this process, click Secure Checkout.
You will then need to log in to your Difus account. If you do not remember your Difus ID or password, click the Forgot your Difus ID or password link to receive the Information via email.
If you do not have an account, create one by selecting the Continue as Guest button. Complete the Account Information and then click on the shopping cart icon at the top of the page to continue to checkout.
The first section of the checkout process requires you to choose an existing shipping address or add a new shipping address. Once you have entered your shipping address, you will need to click the Continue to Billing button to go to a page where you can enter your Payment Information.
For security reasons, if you select a non-credit card payment, you can only ship to the billing address on file with the payment provider. If you wish to ship your package to a different address, select the credit card option.
Before clicking the Place Order button, review your order and make sure the address and other Information is correct. You can then review the Difus Terms and Conditions and check the appropriate box. Last, but certainly not least, click on the Place Order button.
Your order will be processed in the Difus system and will provide you with an order number.
If your card is eligible for Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode features, a pop-up window may appear, and you may be redirected to CardinalCommerce, our verification service provider. You can log in to an existing Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode account, activate an account, or unsubscribe by clicking the Do Not Activate Now button.
You will receive an order number along with an order confirmation email. To view or print a copy of your order confirmation page, click the Order Details button.

Difus.com Website Security
Security is a top priority at Difus. When you submit sensitive Information through the Web site, your Information is protected both online and offline.
The e-commerce infrastructure is highly available to provide the customer with a seamless shopping experience 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All sites are protected by firewalls with intrusion prevention systems. A dedicated team monitors firewalls and sites for performance and irregular activities on a 24 x 7 basis.
All Difus servers, including web servers and database servers, are hosted and maintained in secure data centers. All servers are protected by firewall against internal and external access. Access to the database is strictly monitored. All backups are securely stored in the provider's offsite storage.
Difus uses Transport Layer Security (TLS) to secure all transmissions between the customer and us. Sensitive Information, including credit card number and login credentials, is securely transmitted to us via TLS. Difus encrypts emails in transit via STARTTLS when available, which securely delivers mail and prevents eavesdropping and spoofing between mail servers.
All credit card information is encrypted. Difus employs salted password hashing for all customer login credentials.
Access to all customer information is restricted. Only employees who need the Information to perform a specific job are granted access to Personally Identifiable Information. All access activities are logged and reviewed regularly.
Difus operates in a secure, locked facility that requires all employees to sign in and use valid identification credentials. Security cameras are located throughout the building along with several alarm systems.
All employees are updated with the latest information on our security and privacy practices. Each quarter, as well as whenever new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy and what they can do to ensure that our customers' Information remains protected.

Time synchronization error
The Difus website uses a variety of cookies to enhance your shopping experience, but these cookies expire. If your computer's date and time are not synchronized with your time zone, you may experience problems navigating the website, including logging into your account. Please update your clock settings to match the time at www.time.gov.

If you forgot your password or email address, click here to reset your password or retrieve your login ID. If your password and email address are correct, please do the following:

Enable Javascript.
Reload the page.

Changing your password
To change your account password, go to your Account Settings. Fill in the section titled Password and click Submit.
Passwords must be eight (8) to thirty (30) characters in length and meet at least three of the following four requirements:
Use uppercase letters.
Use lowercase letters
Use at least one number
Use special characters (!, @, #, $,%, ^, &, *,? )
Changing your e-mail address
To change your email address (your login ID), go to your Account Settings. Fill in the Difus ID field and click Submit.

Pick up requirements
You will receive an email when your order is ready for pick up. Bring the credit or debit card used to pay for the order, photo ID and a printed copy of your pick-up slip.

Important information:
If you do not have a printed copy of your pick-up slip, you may show the pick-up slip on your phone when you pick up your item.

You will call at the cut-off time
For same-day pickup, a voluntary future call-in order must be processed by 1:30 pm local time on the day of pickup. You will receive an email as soon as your order is processed and ready for pickup. If an order is processed after 3:00 pm, it will be available for pickup the next business day.

Paying for a future call order
Future call orders are paid online at the time of checkout.
We only accept a credit or debit card for future call orders.
No other forms of payment will be accepted.
You cannot pay for an order in person.
